Agribank Sues Chombo Over $33 000 Loan

Agribank has approached the courts seeking to recover a real time gross settlement of a (ZWR) $33 720 loan advanced to former Finance minister Ignatius Chombo six years ago. The former minister was issued with the court summons recently and he is yet to respond to the litigation. Shamima Begum: IS Teenager’s Baby Son Dies

The baby son of Shamima Begum – who fled London to join the Islamic State group – has died, a spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces has said.The group, which runs the camp where the teenager has been living, confirmed the death on Friday. The baby died of pneumonia, according to a medical certificate. He was less than three weeks old. Sad news have engulfed the Zimbabwean atmosphere this morning as it has been announced that the Prolific writer Charles Lovemore Mungoshi has died at the age of 72. Dr Mungoshi succumbed to an ill health that has been wrestling for his life for nearly a decade.  Pristine Voice Weekender learnt that  Dr Mungoshi died at his home in Zengeza 1 in Chitungwiza. Mourners are gathered at his family house in Chitungwiza and funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
